We also utilize 444.575 + offset (141.3 tone) - Clinton County RACES. This one is used in
conjunction with the National Weather Service and the multi county Skywarn Weather Net.

Sunday Night Net

You are invited to join us every Sunday night at 9:00PM on the 2 meter repeater (147.12+) for our weekly Skywarn™ net.

ARES

Amateur Radio Emergency Service is what CCARA is all about. When threatening weather occurs we are there to communicate what we see which gets relayed to the National Weather Service.

We are also available to be called upon during natural disasters for our communications expertise by the local law enforcement, FEMA, etc.

Amateur radio is an enjoyable hobby, but it also has a serious side as you can see.

Clinton County falls in the 4th district of the ARES hierarchy, and below are some links and contacts for our area.
